a son in the place of Iraq where there were just 24 deaths with bombs, especially with escorts of contractors by the military. (Kirkuk)
On another note, I am thrilled to the gills with a new jazz cd purchase of Jamie Cullom's work on two CD's. It is like "jazz for short attention spans" for the musical pieces are very very short. But I must say that I am singing and feel like dancing when I hear his CD "twentysomething". Woohoo, what a refreshing major talent who is just out of sight with his fresh look at old standards. I am even contemplating copying it and sending to my mother, a long time Benny fan. Wonder what she will think, after all a modern jazz singer who is obviously in his 20's will sound quite a shock perhaps. He even covers Jimi's "The Wind Cries Mary", so this is one that really will hit the baby boomers most squarely.
All for now, for I must dance out to the front yard for mowing, ha ha!

Help

I guess the best we can do is not worry about injury, but hope for his safety. I know he hates it when we worry, anyway.
*waits for him to put in his two cents*
I’ve been meaning to snag a Jamie Cullum CD for a couple of years, ever since I saw him on a show. However, I could never remember his name once I made it to the store! I suppose I should write it down…
I have listened to both CD's now about 4 times each and still get a thrill. This guy can single-handedly bring back Jazz! I swear in his voice and rhythms I can hear Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain and Eminem even. He's got so many modern influences that you would not pick them up if you only listened to jazz. Seriously, go buy the “twentysomething” CD if you possibly can. Well, off to upload some photos to zaadz now. Hey, got to tell you, my brother John just joined zaadz tonight! Our Anakin-warrior of the desert is getting more and more folks into this web community, ha ha! Good to hear from you.
